My Life in the Chinese Cultural Revolution Online
Free and open to the public! Ling Jiang Thumin came of age in China during Chairman Mao's Cultural Revolution (1965-1975). Because her family was wealthy and educated, they were targeted for punishment by the notorious Red Guard. At the age of 13, Ling was separated from her family and forced to work on a collective farm in rural China. Please join us for one woman's inside look at this important historical event and how she survived and found a whole new life in America.
